Hofmann – Ihr Impulsgeber is a company with more than 65 years of experience in toolmaking and mechanical engineering. In 1958, Siegfried Hofmann founded the family-owned company in Lichtenfels. At the time, a garden shed served as the company’s first premises.

Since then, management and employees have seen the company grow steadily and sustainably. In 1982, the company employed 60 people; just ten years later, the workforce had already doubled. Today, around 130 motivated Impulsgeber are part of our team.

What began in a garden shed in 1958 has grown, more than 65 years later, into an internationally leading company in toolmaking and mechanical engineering. Founder Siegfried Hofmann started the business with a balance sheet total of DM 25,000.

The steady growth of our company is also reflected in its revenue development. In 2011, our annual revenue was €28.7 million. By 2019, it had increased to around €60 million.
