Hofmann Impulsgeber is a company with more than 65 years of experience in toolmaking and mechanical engineering. Siegfried Hofmann founded the family business in Lichtenfels in 1958. The first company building at that time was a garden shed. Since then, management and employees have been delighted with the continuous, healthy development of the company. While it had 60 employees in 1982, that number doubled within ten years. Today we have over 250 motivated employees in our ranks creating impactful ideas.

What began in a garden shed in 1958 has developed over 65 years later into an internationally leading toolmaker and mechanical engineering company. The founder Siegfried Hofmann started with a balance sheet total of 25,000 deutschmarks. Our company’s steady growth is reflected in its turnover development. In 2011, our turnover was €28.7 million. In 2019, it was around €60 million.
