Concept Laser GmbH is one of the pioneers and leading global suppliers of machines and systems technology for powder-bed-based laser melting with metals. The technology driver is the patented LaserCUSING® process, also known as 3D metal printing, which has been developing additive manufacturing of 3D components from rapid technology to industrial series production for more than 15 years.

Task

As a series and prototype supplier, Hofmann Impulsgeber supplies Concept Laser GmbH with pre-assembled LaserCUSING® systems and associated assemblies. The construction of these products places the highest demands on precision and quality. In addition to a high degree of flexibility in manufacturing, punctual delivery, consistency in documentation and quality assurance are among the most important requirements.

Solution

Taking into account the customer’s functional requirements, the specialists at Hofmann Impulsgeber developed optimal assembly concepts for the efficient production of the pre-assembled laser melting systems and assemblies. Our product development and production experts use their knowledge for the benefit of our customers. In cooperation with Concept Laser GmbH, they devised optimisation potential for various assemblies, taking into account assembly capability and series production requirements.
